Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Assistant to support a sophisticated Trusts & Estates practice focused on high-net-worth individuals, estate administration, trust administration, probate matters, and transfer tax planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage estate and trust administration matters from opening through final distribution

- Coordinate collection, valuation, and transfer of estate and trust assets

- Assist with beneficiary distributions and trust settlements

- Prepare probate pleadings, petitions, inventories, accountings, notices, and related filings

- Coordinate electronic filings with Florida courts

- Track probate deadlines and procedural requirements

- Prepare estate inventories and asset schedules

- Assist with preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax filings, and fiduciary income tax returns

- Serve as liaison between attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, and outside advisors

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 5 years of Florida estate and trust administration experience

- Strong knowledge of probate administration procedures

- Experience with trust administration matters

- Familiarity with estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax filings

- Knowledge of federal transfer tax concepts

- Experience with Florida court e-filing systems

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED:

- Paralegal Certificate or formal legal training

- Bachelor's Degree

- Experience working with high-net-worth clients

- Experience with estate administration software and trust accounting
