Job Title: Leave Coordinator (Part-Time)
Location: Folsom, NJ 08037 (Hybrid — 2 days onsite)
Type: Contract, 6 months (Jul 27, 2026 – Jan 27, 2027)
Schedule: ~25 hrs/week, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ET
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00/hr
Openings: 1 | Experience: 1–3 years | Interview: 2 rounds via MS Teams

Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented Leave Coordinator for a 6-month hybrid contract supporting the administration of employee leave programs. This is a high-volume HR data entry and leave administration support role.

Responsibilities

  • Receive approved leave information and updates from the Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
  • Enter and maintain continuous and intermittent leave records in Workday's Time Off and Leave modules
  • Process leave transactions per TPA determinations: FMLA, Medical, Personal, Parental, Military, and state/local and company-sponsored programs
  • Enter leave start dates, estimated return-to-work dates, extensions, closures, and return-to-work info; record intermittent leave hours and absences
  • Process leave-related corrections, adjustments, and updates timely; ensure records reflect TPA-approved activity
  • Enter required paid time off per policy, CBA, and applicable law
  • Maintain confidential employee data per company policy and privacy regulations
  • Support internal audits and quality reviews by validating leave data against TPA records
  • Partner with TPA, HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Leave Administration to resolve discrepancies; escalate complex matters; respond to internal inquiries

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years in HR operations, leave administration, and high-volume data entry
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Time Off and Leave modules
  • Experience processing employee leave and absence transactions
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail; ability to handle large data volumes with quality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; discretion with confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a Third-Party Leave Administrator (TPA)
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and employer-sponsored leave programs
  • Experience with both continuous and intermittent leave administration
