Emergency Physician – $390K+ | Southwest Florida | 1099 | 12-Hour Shifts | Part-Time Considered

COMPENSATION:

• $225/hour = approximately $388,000+ annually (MD/DO, 1099 independent contractor)

FACILITY OVERVIEW:

SCHEDULE:

• 12-hour shifts: 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am

• Flexible full-time scheduling

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care

• Manage acute medical concerns in a 15,000-visit annual facility

• Perform emergency procedures

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers

• Ensure exceptional patient outcomes

• Maintain clinical excellence and safety standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• MD or DO degree

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with ED experience, OR recent resident

• 2+ years recent emergency medicine experience in hospital setting (or just out of residency)

• Florida Medical License eligibility

• ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications (all required)

• Meditech EMR familiarity beneficial
