Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays
Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Position Summary: The Commercial Tire Warehouseman maintains an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse while ensuring accurate receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of commercial truck, industrial, agricultural, and off-the-road tires and related products. This position supports technicians, sales staff, delivery drivers, and customers by ensuring products are available, properly stored, and accurately accounted for.

Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
  • Unload trucks safely using forklifts or other equipment
  • Match products to purchase orders and packing slips
  • Label, stock, and organize inventory; rotate using FIFO where applicable
  • Conduct inventory counts and investigate discrepancies

Warehouse Operations

  • Pull and stage orders; load service trucks and delivery vehicles accurately
  • Verify paperwork before products leave the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse; dispose of scrap tires per company policy

Customer Service & Safety

  • Assist customers and employees professionally; communicate shortages to management
  • Support dispatch with emergency road service needs
  • Follow OSHA and company safety policies; operate forklifts safely; wear required PPE; report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance issues promptly

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Warehouse experience preferred; commercial tire experience is a plus
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of commercial tire sizes and applications; basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements: Frequently lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally over 100 lbs with assistance; stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work indoors and outdoors.
